Weekend!

Finally weekend. My student allowance arrived today and all our bills can finally be paid, wonderful. Amber had a great day but she'll get to write more abou that herself. I had my first full class of this term today. Was really great, looking forward to study more about cultural differences and it will hopefully help me when I'm finally done with my education in about two years or so.

  1. Hej!

  3. Hi Magnus,
I found your blog/genealogy research just doing general searches for the Wallstrom/Walstrom lineage. My gg-grandfather was Anders Andersson Wahlstrom, although you have him listed as Anders Wallstrom Peterson. I would love to know how the source/parish record or census you have showing Anders married to Anna Maria Kristiansdotter. The Anders Andersson Wahlstrom I found date of birth 18 Dec 1824 married my g-grandmother Anna Greta Jansdotter on 28 Dec 1848 in Otterstad. The discrepancy is probably on my part - since I do not understand much Swedish (how sad - both of my parents are Swedish but born here in Iowa). I do have copies of the Genline census records and can share the references/pages. Anyhow, Anders and Anna Greta had six children - several who emigrated to Iowa. Carl Walstrom, born 21 Aug 1858 in Otterstad, Skaraborg is my g-grandfather. If you can share the sources for your info to help me since I think I must have missed something here, I would appreciate it so much. Everything else you have about Peter Wallstrom and Bortha Nilsdotter and their lineage I also found - although now, of course, I am wondering if I have the right link here to Peter Wallstrom and Bortha Nilsdotter. So looking forward to hearing from you,
